| Jason Taylor | Jason Taylor is a defensive end for the Washington Redskins of the NFL. He was originally drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 1997 draft. He played his college years at Akron. In his eleven years that he has played in the NFL, he has totaled 117 sacks. He has forced 41 fumbles in his career, recovered 26 fumbles, scored 8 career defensive touchdowns and has been selected to 6 Pro Bowls.
Jason Tayor has also recieved many awards such as the 2006 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and the 2007 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. He is a two time NFL Alumni Association Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2005 and 2006. Off the field, Jason Taylor was chosen to appear in the tv show Dancing with the Stars. On the show he placed second overall. In 2004, he and his wife founded the Jason Taylor Foundation. The foundations goal is to help the children of South Florida. |
